Winter Warming and Christmas Gifting

Chocolate and Christmas go together hand in hand – it’s a no brainer for me. We love chocolate in the UK, in fact it’s estimated that we eat almost 670,000 tonnes of chocolate a year, that’s around 11kg per person! And at Christmas in 2017, 1 in 5 people say they had chocolate for breakfast – my kind of people, I must say!

Giving chocolate at Christmas is a guaranteed way into the good books of your friends and family, but with so many choices, where do you start? Giving chocolate, at any time of year, can be a simple gesture or an extravagant gift, and although there countless options for you to choose from, here is a wee look at what we have available this season at Chocolates of Glenshiel.

Pop the kettle on and have a wee read through our Winter Warmers Christmas Gift Guide and let us know how you get on this Christmas!

STOCKING FILLERS AND SECRET SANTA

WEE BOXES

For all of our selections, Whisky, Gin, Classic and Local Selections, we have wee versions of them all for a smaller bitesize treat. Our wee boxes have 6 chocolates from each selection, for only £8. We have also created a wee box with our best seller chocolate – a whole box of salted caramel! These would be a lovely addition to a stocking, as part of a hamper or as part of a Secret Santa gift!

BARS

The bars at Chocolates of Glenshiel are beautifully shaped like a mountain range and are enclosed in a bespoke box to hold them, giving them a feeling of decadence. Our flavours are Dark Chocolate and Haggis Spice, White Chocolate and Raspberry, Dark Chocolate and Skye Sea Salt, Milk Chocolate and Highland Roast Coffee. We are launching 2 brand new flavours this season - Salted Caramel and Hazelnut, and Scottish Tablet and Milk Chocolate! The bars are £5, which is perfectly within the Secret Santa price range, and are the perfect size to slip in a stocking. Or why not buy 4 bars for the price of 3 and give one to the whole family!

CARDS

Getting into the Christmas spirit this year might be a little different for everyone and the importance of sending love and encouragement have never been more important. If you fancy sending someone a kind word, we have a range of cards from a fellow small business, designed to cheer someone up and accompany a little chocolatey treat! We can handwrite the card with the message you want and send it alongside your chocolatey gift. These cards are £2.50 and available for orders of more than one bar or orders totalling £20 or more.
