We’re Hiring!

Do you have a passion for people, chocolate and the Highlands? Then we want to hear from you!

At Chocolates of Glenshiel, we are extremely passionate about what we do – our craft and provenance – and we love to share our story with our customers. As part of our wee team, you’ll love this too!

We're currently recruiting for the following roles:

Front of House – flexible hours - £10 / hour

We are looking for some enthusiastic, chocaholic front of house staff to join us in our chocolate cafe in Glenshiel, currently consisting of a café and a gift shop with a chocolate tasting experience coming soon.

We find that our visitors are often very interested in finding out a bit more about the Glenshiel area, so some local knowledge would be very handy. It would also be super if you had some previous barista experience, but we will provide training so it’s not strictly necessary – we’re more interested in your positive outlook and friendly personality!

If you are a keen baker, Catherine is always looking for a helping hand to bake all of our delicious goodies!

Duties will include making delicious hot drinks, serving scrumptious cakes, keeping the café and shop looking gorgeous and generally delighting our lovely customers. In return, we’ll offer flexible hours and a friendly and supportive working environment.

Production Assistant – full-time (30 - 40 hrs per week) from £10 per hour

We’re on the lookout for a production assistant in our chocolate kitchen, also located in our chocolate café in Glenshiel. You don’t need to have any previous chocolatiering experience as we will provide comprehensive training. What you will need, however, is a love of food, a passion for quality Scottish produce and a creative flair.

Duties will include making and decorating both filled chocolates and bars, packaging products and general maintenance of our kitchen to keep it beautifully clean and shiny.

Café & Shop Manager – approx. 4 days per week, from £11 / hour

We’re looking for a manager for our café and gift shop. As well as a passion for warm Highland hospitality, you’ll have fantastic people skills and the ability to keep the heid in a busy, fast-paced environment. Previous managerial experience isn’t necessary but would be beneficial.

You will be instrumental in developing our new experience based offering and shaping our café offering.

This role is the perfect fit for someone looking for something you can put your own stamp on whilst keeping a good work life balance.

We are a relaxed, flexible, employer who understand that you work isn’t your whole life! We want to support you to have a joy-filled, blessed and balanced life. All of our team haves some very cool hobbies on the go, from make-up artistry to mountain climbing; youth-work to paddle boarding! We think this enriches the team and makes for a happier and more vibrant place to work.

If you fancy taking your career in a new, chocolatey direction and think you’d be a great fit for our wee team, please get in touch with Finlay with a wee bit about yourself and a CV at finlay@chocolatesofglenshiel.com. We can’t wait to hear from you!

Make sure to include the role(s) you are looking to be considered for in the subject line – we can’t wait to hear from you!
